Pre-Construction Services (PCS)
This allows the developer to deal with most of the technical aspects of the construction process before going to tender. This reduces the build time on site, thus saving on the prelim costs associated with running a live project.
Measures Bill of Quantities
Through the early engagement we do a full take off on what is involved in the project and prepare a full schedule of bills, we look at and or approved alternatives to give added benefits to a project and we advise on long lead material items from supplier.
Project Logistics
From Compliance with planning requirements to traffic management plans and craneage strategies, we can provide this. As the project design is evolving, the logistics of brownfield sites is something we have vast experience on, and we understand how this can influence a project being delivered on time and without causing delays.
Tender Review
We act in a role whereby we have developed the bill and understand the project, this puts us in the optimum position to issue tenders and appraise them accordingly on their merits along with contractor capabilities. Every tenderer has their own capabilities and through their supply chain they can deliver the project with the same goal as safely and as efficiently as possible.
Pre-Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans
We work to develop this to ensure that all the residual risks are identified for all contractors that cannot be design out of any sequence of works, highlighting that the challenge will lay with manging the risk in the project delivery and ensuring that the contractor is aware of these risks.
Contracts
We provide advice on which type of contract best suits anyone one project, whether is a bespoke contract or a Standard JCT to more onerous NEC contract we have that capability to advise on what best suits the project and investors interests best.
Engineering Support
From identification of Temporary Works requirements to reinforcement detailing we have the unique ability that we can provide this. Coupled with BIM we can provide a modelling service with 4D planning showing the construction progress and monitor progress against this as the project evolves, giving clients assurance that the works are inline with programme and progress.
Complete Project Delivery and Overview
We operate in management role from inspection on site, monitoring progress and change through programme review and change control procedures. This allows us to manage the cost of the build ensuring that cash flow/drawdowns are inline with the various stages of any project to ensure the works progress seamlessly.
